A note from and a bio for Circus Camp Stars founder, Michael Rosman

Thank you for taking the time to review our site i.e.  MAKING IT THIS FAR!

I am lucky to be able to do the two things I enjoy most for a living.  One is performing circus and comedy, and the other is teaching circus and comedy. I don't take for granted the opportunity and trust bestowed upon me by parents and the camp producers to run fun and safe programs.  I care deeply that the kids both learn and have fun in a non competitive environment and we strive to instill in them that patience, persistence, and practice will ultimately bring success in circus learning and in life in general.  Kids leave with new skills, new friends, and improved coordination and self confidence. I look forward to having your 'star' in one or more of our programs this summer.  On behalf of all of our coaches,

Thank you!   Michael

A bio for Michael:

For over 30 years comedy juggler Michael Rosman has been entertaining audiences around the world. He is a graduate of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus Clown College; toured with Clyde Beatty-Cole Bros. Circus; and served in the renowned Big Apple Circus Clown Care unit. He appeared on both Late Night with David Letterman and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno; headlined on more than 25 cruise ships and at 100 colleges and universities; and lists Cirque du Soleil, Walt Disney World, and The National Theater in Washington DC among past clients. He is also proud to have been an instructor at Circus Smirks in Vermont. Michael is the director of the nonprofit Laughter Arts Foundation and founder of MotionFest, a pioneering professional development conference for variety performers. Locally, Michael is well known for his wire walking show 'Squire of the Wire' at the Maryland Renaissance Festival and for his comedy juggling and unicycling stunt show at  Baltimore's Inner Harbor.  He is one of the most sought-after performers and circus coaches in the Mid-Atlantic region. Michael has two college age children and he proudly admits that both are better jugglers than he is. Michael is one degree separated from Kevin Bacon (also true) yet his claims to be mildly allergic to children have yet to be substantiated.
